Continued growth in Bluepoint (we have over 500 customers now) means we needed to speed up our production and delivery times.
You might be surprised to learn that some of our jobs take more time to pack and rewind than they do to make.
Our tags come off the press in a 'cheese' on a roll, sometimes a metre across. A single roll may hold more than 25,000 tags; this needs to be rewound into customer size portions.
Our fantastic new machine slits and rewinds our product twice as fast as our old technology and can keep the product moving continuously, rather than stopping / starting to change rolls.
This means faster throughput and production, efficiencies which we will be delighted to pass on to our customers.
